Phones For

Homeless Youth

Where Are The Phones Going?

All phones and their chargers will be donated to the Youth Services Committee of the Lake Forest Park Rotary Foundation where it will then be fixed, provided cell service, and given to youth and young adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless or otherwise needy teenagers.

Why do we need phones?

Cell phones are a necessity to find jobs, seek medical care, contact people, etc. This is exacerbated due to Covid-19 restricting physical access to many places limiting you to contact them by phone. Providing these cell phones for homeless youth will allow them to seek help in whatever facet they need.

What is Needed

Phones

Phone chargers

Portable batteries

We’ll take any type of cell phone.

(in any condition)

Who's Organizing

The Eagle Scout project is led by Pilsung Kwak from Troop 309. An Eagle Scout project is one of the last milestones required to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout and is focused on bettering the community. Pilsung’s project is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lake Forest Park and will benefit North King County homeless youth.
